Aslan, Reza (1972-)

Reza Aslan (born 1972, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian-American writer. He is on the faculty at the University of California, Riverside, and is a contributing editor for The Daily Beast. His books include No god but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam (2005) and How to Win a Cosmic War: God, Globalization and the End of the War on Terror (2009). In 2007 he co-founded BoomGen Studios with filmmaker Mahyad Tousi.
