Chen was the Head of the University of Hong Kong Department of Law from 1993 to 1996. After the Department of Law became the Faculty of Law in 1996, he was the first Dean from 1996 to 2002. He is currently a member of the Hong Kong Basic Law Committee of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, a member of the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong, and a law professor at the University of Hong Kong (Bron: Wikipedia)
