Formerly a practising human rights lawyer in London specializing in immigration and refugee law, is now director of the Human Rights programme at the University of Chicago. Jeremiah Smith Jr. Lecturer in Law at Harvard Law School, a lecturer in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and the director of the Harvard University Committee on Human Rights Studies
