Turner, Barry (fl.1972 ; dr.) 

Dr. Turner obtained a doctorate in political history from the London School of Economics. He has lectured widely in history and social studies, and held such appointments as the Deputy Editorship of new Education, the Editorship of Education and Training, and a Visiting Lectureship a/t University of Oregon; 

he has worked in publishing, and has written "Adventures in education", "Free trade and protection", "A place in the country", "Equality for some", and "Sweden". (In: "The other European community")
