Ghobadi, Bahman (1968-)

Bahman Ghobadi is an Iranian film director. He was born on February 1, 1969 in Baneh, Kurdistan Province. In 2009 Ghobadi's movie "Nobody knows about Persian cats" was screened during the time of the post-election riots in Iran. Due to this, Ghobadi and his main actors had to seek for assylum in Europe and could not go back to Iran.
