Diouf, Mamadou Seck

Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the Cheikh Anta Diop University (Dakar). In the nineties he was director of the Research and Documentation Programme of the Council for the Development of Social Sciences in Africa (CODESRIA). 2003: professor of history and African American and African Studies at the University of Michigan and Associate Director of African Studies at the Center of AfroAmerican and African Studies.
