Daartoe behoren ook de Europese Centrale Bank en de centrale banken van de andere landen die de euro hebben ingevoerd: België, Cyprus, Duitsland, Finland, Frankrijk, Griekenland, Ierland, Italië, Luxemburg, Malta, Oostenrijk, Portugal, Slovenië, Slowakije en Spanje. De missie van het Eurosysteem is prijsstabiliteit.
